This medium roast uses beans from Indonesia and east Africa, each roasted to their peak flavor, then blended together to form our most complex and enticing signature coffee.

Named for our founder’s maternal grandfather, Joe Stevens, who arrived on Ellis Island in 1909 with nothing more than a suitcase and a dream. Working as an engineer, he was instrumental in the design of many Detroit area Chrysler factories in the 1940’s and later developed several patents for Hager Hinge corporation. His grandchildren remember the ever present cigar stubs on the visor of his car, or side table by his recliner.
