The Roastery

The MGC Roasting HQ is located behind The Bean Shop right in downtown Ann Arbor. Here is where we roast all the coffees that are for our website, grocery and food & beverage customers. We also roast and evaluate all of our samples that arrive from around the globe and taste (and taste, and taste) until we arrive at what we’ll be offering as the seasons change. We roast coffee on a 7 day schedule to ensure that only the freshest beans go into every bag for every customer.

For those interested in green coffee for home or commercial roasting, you can arrange to purchase any of our coffees un-roasted in any amount from 1/2 pound to full bags. Check our on-line store for the latest offerings or send us a note on our Wholesale Inquires page.

If you are a roaster looking to evaluate roasting equipment, we have a partnership with Probat USA and can arrange roasting demos and classes in their Illinois training lab. We are also a dedicated Loring test drive site. Please contact Loring if you are interested in setting up a demo.
